Chatelherault Country Park Engagement Session | Danielle + Kevin

What a glorious spring morning we had for Danielle and Kevin's engagement shoot at Chatelherault Country Park. The park was buzzing with mountain bikers and dog walkers but we managed to find a few quieter spots to take some beautiful photographs.

We started off (as we always do) with some walking shots, it's always a nice and easy way to ease couples into their engagement session, no posing just walking and talking. With Danielle and Kevin absolutely smashing those we headed off to find a wee bit of shade under some trees. We brought in their son Noah, who gran and grandpa had been doing an excellent job of entertaining. After being a little bit shy, Noah soon warmed up to the camera, he is such a cutie with his cheeky smile and little blonde curls, I am in no doubt he will be the star of the show at his mum and dad's wedding. We then took a few more of mum and dad before wondering up to the Hunting Lodge for our final few photos. Kevin was giving off some serious cool 90's indie rock band vibes in the last set of photos. As we were just getting ready to leave I spotted an excellent opportunity for a wee silhouette, so I popped an orange gel onto the flash (which Kevin so expertly held and pointed at the wall) to contrast nicely with the blue sky. I love doing these types of photos as it gives the couple an instant wow factor as the photo looks so different to what they are seeing in real life. It was a fabulous shoot and great fun getting to know Danielle and Kevin (and of course Noah) I can't wait for their wedding this coming summer.

Please enjoy a selection of photographs from their engagement session.
