What a glorious morning we had for Lauren and Steven's engagement shoot down at Balloch Castle on the shores of Loch Lomond, it was a very sunny but fresh spring day. After a slight confusion over which carpark we where meeting in, we managed to find each other. Full disclosure, although Lauren and I have never met in person in we are sort of related and by 'sort of' I mean only if being step-cousins-in-law is an actual thing!?
We started our shoot with a few photographs in front of the castle as that is where met. The sun was very bright and low in the sky so I placed Lauren and Steven in the shade of tree to save them from squinting and popped up a flash to fill them with some light. We then headed off for a wee walk through the trees before heading down to Loch Lomond shore. I have down few photo sessions down here before but this was the highest I have seen the water up the boat slip but we still managed to get some photos on it even if we were photo bombed by a couple of dogs.
