I had the pleasure of capturing Annie and Nick's spring wedding at The Rhynd, a stunning wedding venue. The weather was simply perfect, with clear blue skies and blossoming spring flowers.
The day started off at Annie's childhood home, where she got ready with her bridesmaids. It's always a special moment when brides prepare for their big day surrounded by the memories of their childhood. Melanie and her team from MHM Styling did an amazing job with hair and makeup.
The Rhynd was beautifully decorated, and the flowers by Amy Annand perfectly complemented the rustic theme. This venue is a personal favorite of mine, especially when the sun is shining. The garden and courtyard at the back are a wonderful sun trap, and it felt surprisingly warm for an April day.
After the ceremony, Annie and Nick joyfully made their way through a confetti tunnel to their champagne reception. The afternoon was filled with laughter and drinks as the guests enjoyed the acoustic tracks played by members of the band Cora, who would later perform in the evening. We took a short break from the festivities to capture some family group photos and the couple's portraits, which were absolutely stunning.
The speeches during the reception were hilarious and kept everyone entertained. And let's not forget the delicious meal that followed!
As the evening celebrations began, Cora took the stage and had everyone, young and old, up and dancing the night away. Before wrapping up our time together, Annie, Nick, and I stepped outside for a few evening portraits in front of the venue. These photos truly captured the essence of their special day.
