Autumn brings the most wonderful colours and backdrop for family photoshoots. The golden colour of the leaves in the low afternoon sun just add that wee bit of magic.
Those of you that have followed me for a while may well recognise some of the smiles in these photographs as they belong to my sister and her wonderful family.
With lockdown regulations in place and being unable to visit each others homes, a meet up in the park was the perfect opportunity to update some family photos. Rouken Glen is a fabulous park, with a little bit of something for everyone. Lovely walks, boating pond, cafe, garden centre, restaurant and an amazing play park. The park was very busy last Saturday but luckily even on a busy day there are plenty of quiet secluded spots to take some lovely photographs.
We started off with some quick portraits of Erik and Rosie. Always good to get some safe shots in the bag early as by the end of the shoot sometimes kids aren't so happy to play ball. I didn't have to worry with this pair though, Rosie loves the camera and always loves to pose and Erik was on his best behaviour as he knew I had his birthday present in the boot of the car for when we were finished. (Yes, Erik had decided to cut his own hair the previous week, just incase you were wondering where you could get such a stylish cut)
